Technical SEO
Audits, site speed, crawlability and the on-page foundations that rankings are built on.
I'm Ian Cockram — an SEO consultant and web developer. I help businesses across South Wales and the UK get found in Google, and increasingly in AI search. No account managers, no jargon: you work directly with the person doing the work.
I've spent more than fifteen years building and marketing websites — the last decade focused squarely on SEO, across both in-house teams and agency work. I still work in-house on search day to day, so what I recommend clients is what I'm actually doing right now, not theory from a textbook.
What sets my approach apart is that I don't just advise — I build. My background is in web development (Webflow, WordPress, and hand-coded HTML, CSS and JavaScript), so I can implement the fixes an audit turns up rather than handing you a to-do list and hoping your developer gets to it.
Over the years I've managed multiple clients at once across the whole stack: account management, technical audits, content strategy, backlink acquisition and reporting. And I've a genuine — slightly nerdy — interest in how AI is reshaping search, which is why Webolific writes as much about AI Overviews and GEO as it does about classic SEO.

Most consultants advise on one slice of this. Because I build as well as optimise, I can take a project the whole way.
Audits, site speed, crawlability and the on-page foundations that rankings are built on.
Google Business Profile, local content and citations that win the map pack in your town.
Keyword-led content planned around your money pages — not a scatter of blog posts.
Relevant, quality backlinks earned and vetted for reputation, not raw volume.
Making sure ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews can find and cite you.
I can build and fix the site itself — Webflow, WordPress and code — not just recommend it.
Reports and recommendations you can actually understand and act on — no 90-page PDFs.
Content, accounts and assets are yours to keep, always — during the work and after it.
Monthly, cancel any time. The results are the retention strategy, not the contract.
